DIY men's banknote holder

To make a banknote we take:

• Binding cardboard size A4;
  
• Scheme of the banknote;
  
• Black leatherette;
  
• Sintepon;
  
• Metal magnetic lock;
  
• Black cut gears;
  
• Metal corners in silver color;
  
• Men's scrap paper in brown color, two sheets 30*30 cm;
  
• Black sheet of cardboard;
  
• Pictures with different masculine elements and objects in brown;
  
• Adhesive with adhesive tape effect;
  
• Glue stick, double-sided tape;
  
• Scissors, pencil and ruler.

We begin to work with binding cardboard.We take the diagram and cut the binding cardboard into blanks such as in the diagram.


Now we cut three strips of white cardboard, 4 cm wide, with which we will connect all the binding cardboard blanks so that we get one solid, dense blank. We smear the cardboard strips with a glue stick and glue them, while laying the binding strips tightly together. Now we draw strips on the bends with scissors so that the binding base folds well.


Now we cover the entire base with strips of double-sided tape on one side.


Now we glue the padding polyester. We cut off the leatherette with reserves so that it can be wrapped.


We smear the corners on the binding base with a glue stick, wrap the corners of the leatherette and glue them. You need to hold it well, or better yet, put a couple of books as a press.


Now we spread the sides, also wrap and glue, the same for the top and bottom.


We sew along the edge of the entire base and fold it this way.


Now we cut a rectangle of scrap paper 8*16 cm, take two pictures and gears.


We sew on the rectangle and pictures, and glue the gears. Now we cut a 20.5 * 20 cm quadrangle from scrap paper.


Now we glue it from the inside of the leatherette base. Now we take the diagram and black cardboard, cut out the inner base of the box.


We glue a scrap rectangle inside and sew it on. We also cut strips from scrap paper to cover the inner and outer walls of the box.


We glue the base of our box. Now we glue the lock at the top, and attach the second part of the lock to the side of the inner base.
