DIY aerosol freshener
I think many of us don’t really like the smells of store-bought air fresheners, so I suggest you make your own, unique air freshener with your favorite scent.
For production we will need:
1) A can of paint or antistatic agent.
2) Nipple from a bicycle tube.
3) Essential oil or favorite perfume.
4) Water.
First of all, we remove the labels from the spray can and thoroughly rinse it to remove any remaining paint.
After this, we mark and drill a hole for the nipple, it is best, of course, to drill it in the bottom, but then the air freshener will not stand, so I drill it from the side.
Then we cut off the nipple itself from the tire and clean it to clean brass. Be careful you don't cut yourself.
Inserting it into the hole, solder it. You can, of course, glue it, but it is very important that this connection is airtight and maintains high pressure.
Important! Before soldering, you need to unscrew the valve itself with the spring from the nipple, because leaving it there it will melt and will no longer perform its function.
While soldering, ask someone close to you to help you, since doing it alone is very inconvenient and hot.
Having printed the inscription on thick paper, we glue it to the jar, I glued it with tape, but you can also use glue.
And so, finally, we begin to make the liquid itself. Take water, your favorite essential oil, and a syringe. Next, I mixed water and mint drops, poured it all into a syringe and filled our freshener.
Well, that’s all, the huge advantage of this freshener is that it is refillable, and you can take on new smells every time. When pumping, I do not recommend pumping too much pressure, because in this case the liquid will flow in a stream and not spray.
