Gel air freshener
I, like any housewife, want pleasant smells to always be in the house, so from time to time I have to raid the store in search of various kinds of fresheners. But for some reason many of them (even the most delicious-smelling ones) cause sneezing attacks, and even a sore throat begins. That’s why I set out to learn how to make flavors with my own hands. My very first experience in this field was a gel air freshener.
As it turned out, it can be made in just a few minutes, and with virtually no effort. And the cost of such a flavoring is generally cheap.
So, let's prepare a homemade air freshener.
Required components:
• water – 250 ml;
• ground cinnamon – 2 g;
• dye;
• food gelatin – 15 g;
• 3 drops of orange essential oil;
• glycerin – 10 ml.
Preparation method:
Heat water in a small container until hot and pour gelatin into it, immediately mix thoroughly.
As soon as the gelatin grains are completely dissolved, pour the liquid into a container in which the freshener will be “deployed”. Add cinnamon (its aroma revitalizes and encourages action) and coloring, mix.The amount of dye depends on how rich the color you want to get.
Next, we “introduce” glycerin (it prevents the rapid evaporation of moisture) with essential oil, and leave it to harden right on the table.
After literally 3 hours, the gel air freshener is ready for use. All that remains is to decorate it slightly and find a suitable place in the center of the room.
Or you can cut the fairly dense gelatinous mass into pieces and place it in several corners of the room at once.
A pleasant aroma in the house is the key to a good mood!
