Small items basket
A slightly inconspicuous jute rope can be twisted with the help of talented hands into an incredible basket with its own character. The smell of hemp yarn is somewhat specific, but quickly disappears. You can knit such a basket in about two hours, provided that you also decor we'll have time to do it.
To create a jute basket we will need:
1. Cut the plastic bottle so that the height of the resulting “glass” corresponds to the desired height of the future picture.
2. We begin to knit our jute basket. Let's make a ring. From it you need to knit 14 double crochets. This will be the first row. You should get an even circle.
3. Second row – 28 double crochets.
4. Third row - 41 identical columns. In order for 28 stitches to become 41, you need to knit two double crochets from every second stitch.
5. The next 2 rows are 49 single crochets.
6. In the sixth row and in all the following (there will be approximately 22 rows) we knit 52 single crochets. We fasten the thread, when the jute basket is tied, we insert a plastic cup inside the jute.
7. Measure the circumference of the basket. Cut out a rectangle of fabric a little longer. From the same fabric we cut out a wide circle to form the bottom.
8. Sew the rectangle along the seam to create the “walls” of the fabric cup. We sew the bottom to these walls. Turn it right side out and place it in a plastic cup.
9. Sew the fabric to the jute base using invisible seams.
10. We knit a chain from a cotton cord. We tie it over the place where the fabric tab is attached. We sew the chain with invisible seams.
11. We tie beads to the ends of the cotton chain.
