How to get fresh water

When you are away from civilization and sources of water, you will probably want to use this method. Of course, if you want to survive. If you don't drink water, you can die from dehydration. If you can last quite a long time without food, then death from dehydration occurs quickly. With this master class you can learn how to extract water through the process of evaporation. This method is simple and works quite quickly.
You will need a few things:
- shovel (if you don’t have one, you can always use your hands),
- vessel,
- vegetation,
- tarpaulin/plastic film,
- rocks/you can also use soil you dig up.
Digging a hole

Dig a hole approximately as large as shown in the image. It doesn't have to be big. The depth is approximately 50 cm. Do this in the morning, since the more water you lose through sweat, the more you will have to replace it.
After you have dug the hole, place a vessel in the center at the bottom. It should be quite deep so that more water can be collected in the ngo.
As you can see in the photo, I used a tin can for these purposes. For it, I made a recess of 5 cm so that its upper edge did not rise above the surface. Next you will find out why.
Vegetation will come in handy

Find normal green leaves that are nearby. Place them in the hole around the cup. There should be quite a lot of vegetation. As the sun rises and glows throughout the day, water from the plants will evaporate and then condense on the surface of the coating.
Coating

The material should completely cover the hole and be stretched over it. Place rocks or soil around the edges to keep the film in place. Carefully place one small stone in the center of the cover over the cup. This stone will direct the condensed water into the vessel.
Water from the vegetation will evaporate and eventually collect in the cup.
When this happens, you can enjoy a sip of fresh, clean water.
If there are no water sources around you, you can try this method. The method is simple, inexpensive, fast and reliable, so use it.
