How to Improve Wi-Fi in 5 Minutes Using an Aluminum Can
This is 100% working and the simplest way to increase the Wi-Fi signal reception radius. Its essence is to add a reflector to the existing antenna, which will concentrate the signal in one direction, like the reflector of a flashlight. All we need is an aluminum cola can, a knife or scissors and 5 minutes of your time.
Making a reflector
Take an aluminum cola can. The volume does not matter - 0.25 or 0.33 ml.
We drink or pour out the drink.
We make two cuts in the jar at the top and bottom of the jar. About half the can in length.
Next, we make a cut with a knife along the middle along the entire length.
We bend the resulting petals or wings.
We cut off the excess if the wings are too long and get in the way. There is not much point in making them long, and they will get in the way.
We put the opening hole on the Wi-Fi router antenna and point it at the receiving subscribers. It's simple, isn't it?
You can glue it to the router with hot glue for reliability, but this is not critical.
We check the signal.
This essentially cheap hack can increase the Wi-Fi signal strength by 20-30 percent. All you need is a used drink can.
And so, friends, make your own signal reflector, and please write about your results in the comments. Thank you for your attention!
