How to easily secure a hand-held power tool
There is a great need to fix the angle grinder in a stationary state. For example, sharpen a drill if you don’t have a stationary sandpaper at hand. I will show you how to make an incredibly simple stand on which you can attach not only an angle grinder, but also other tools, such as a drill, a dremel, a hair dryer, etc.
Making a stand for a power tool
We cut out a rectangular piece of chipboard larger than your tool.
One such slab will not be enough, since it is too light, so we will cut another one. Place it on top and draw along the outline with a marker.
We cut it out with a hacksaw or jigsaw.
We fasten with self-tapping screws on four sides, having previously drilled the holes.
We turn the bolts down so that they do not spoil the view.
We place a grinder in the middle, which needs to be fixed motionless.
And we mark places for future fastenings.
We will need two more clamps like this. This is how pipes are secured; there are plenty of them in hardware stores of absolutely any diameter.

Drill a hole for the plastic dowels.
We insert them into the holes using a hammer.
Screw in the screw posts.
Screw on the clamps.
We install the grinder in place.
We fix it with clamps, tightening the fasteners.
Rubber gaskets will not create excessive force on the tool body and will not allow it to move anywhere. Now you can work.
Turn to one side if necessary. Very comfortably.
And sharpen whatever you want: even knives, even drills.
You can also attach it with a Dremel.
We fix the construction hairdryer.
All examples are obvious. The stand is very simple and very comfortable. If there is slight vibration, it will not turn over.
Also, before work, it is necessary to tighten the trigger or switch of the tool with a plastic tie or other means. Be extremely careful when operating the tool in this position. I recommend making a foot pedal button so that when you press it with your foot, the instrument will turn on.
