We suggest you make a pig out of money. We are talking about a craft made using the manigami technique. You must use a bill to fold the figure. A money pig is a talisman that will definitely bring financial luck and prosperity. Let's consider the methodology for its implementation.
To create a manigami pig you will need one bill.
How to fold a pig using origami technique step by step
1. Take any bill you wish and turn it horizontally.
2. Make the initial fold along the middle, smooth it perfectly and take care to close the adjacent corners and opposite long sides.
3. Unfold the paper and bend it again. Make the second fold vertically, matching the corners adjacent to the long sides and the short sides of the rectangular bill.
4. Leave the bill in this position and lift the top layer up so that the bottom side aligns with the left side where the fold was.You will select a line offset approximately 1 cm from the diagonal of the desired figure.
5. Bend the upper part that protrudes beyond the borders towards you to align it with the top side of the figure.
6. Turn the workpiece over with the other side facing you and bend the side left side towards you, stepping back about 1 cm. It is also necessary to align the line.
7. Unfold the paper, but now in front of you is a bill in which two side parts are bent in different directions, and 3 fold lines are visible.
8. Place the left side towards the center fold line and smooth out the paper.
9. Turn the workpiece over with the other side facing you.
10. Now, holding the banknote in this position, bend it vertically in half.
11. Start to disassemble the bill, but not completely. Make a small fold in the center, as shown in the corresponding photo.
12. Hold the bill with your finger and bend the bill in half lengthwise.
13. Knead again and direct the two sides towards the center line, but the fold should remain in place.
14. Leave the left side bent towards the center, and straighten the right half so that isosceles triangles are formed on the sides. At this stage you will get a part that resembles a hand-held flashlight.
15. Turn the figure over with the other side facing you.
16. Now work with the square part of the workpiece. Bend the upper right corners so as to close them in the center, then move only a small corner in different directions.
17. Begin to close the inner part in the former square and assemble the entire figure.
18. Closing the inner part of the square, pressing the entire structure inward, close the long rectangular part from the side. It is necessary to bend the bill in half.
19. In front of you is half of the figure. The back of the pig has already emerged. The animal has hind and front legs. The head is not outlined yet.
20. Select the ears in the front straight part. Fold the corners up and then to the side to reveal small isosceles triangles.
21. Press the small triangles inward. Now the forward rectangle has become sharp.
22. Bend the small corner back and begin to bend the central part to highlight the patch.
23. Also press the piglet inward, lift the ears up so that they stick out. Grasp the entire face with your fingers and press back to highlight the pig's thick neck.
24. Manigami pig figurine is ready.
