Pokemon Pikachu using origami technique
Pokémon first appeared 20 years ago, and are now experiencing their newfound popularity. Of these, the most famous is Pikachu. Our master class suggests making it from paper using the technique origami.
To work you will need a square sheet of paper (yellow) and markers (red and black).
First, fold the paper along two diagonals.
Then we will make transverse folds in the other direction.
Let's fold the Pokemon blank into a double square.
On one side, bend the side corners towards the center and slightly up.
On the other side we will do the same.
Fold the top corner of the resulting diamond down.
Let's start straightening the blank of the future Pokemon on one side.
Let's carefully straighten it and give it the following look. On the other hand, we do the same.
We will bend one of the upper parts down.
Let's turn the Pokemon blank on the other side and at the same time rotate it 180 degrees.
We will bend the upper corners on both sides to the sides, these will be the ears of our Pikachu.
We bend the lower part up, and then bend it down together with the upper part, forming an even line between the Pokemon’s ears. At the same time, let's slightly bend the lower part of our Pikachu.
Let's turn it over to the other side, this is what the Pokemon head looks like from the front side.
Draw eyes, ears, nose and mouth on it with a black felt-tip pen. Add cheeks with a red felt-tip pen, our Pikachu is ready.
