The laptop power adapter case is glued together in two parts with special glue and does not have any other fasteners. If an accident happens and the power supply breaks down, then to repair it you must first disassemble it. How to do this if it is not collapsible? For a long time, when disassembling, I simply broke the cases, but it turns out that everything is much simpler than it might seem. And opening such a block without damage is not so difficult.

As you can see, the shell is almost completely sealed. There are no channels or recesses. I often disassemble such units not only for repairs, but also to replenish the radio-electronic supplies of my workshop, because there is something to take there.

Will need

• Cotton wool or cotton swab.
  
• Regular gasoline of any octane number. Solvent 646 also performed well.

Disassembling the glued power supply housing

The essence of this method is to soak the connecting glue with a solvent. To do this, soak cotton wool in gasoline and wipe the seam between the parts of the body.

Be sure to wet it thoroughly so that the solvent penetrates into all pores. Turn the block over to the other side and repeat the procedure on the other side.

It is necessary to go through the entire perimeter of the building.
Then leave the glue to open for 10-15 minutes. And then we coat the seams again and also wait for the unlocking.
After the time has passed, very carefully, we try to open the block.

There is no need to rush; the glue has not come off in all areas. If suddenly it happens that there is no movement, be especially careful - pick it out with a scalpel.

And finally everything opened without damage.

Now you can make repairs or simply remove the necessary parts in reserve.

Be sure to carry out all procedures with gasoline (solvent) in a well-ventilated area, otherwise you may get poisoned.
