How to open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew

It often happens that there is a bottle of wine, but it is not possible to find a corkscrew to open it. For example, we came to nature to relax and have a barbecue. Naturally, there is no one nearby for several kilometers. But there is a simple method to open a bottle using a knife.

Then take a thick cloth or towel, fold several layers and carefully wrap it around the knife.

Now you need to try to remove the cap by turning the bottle. You hold the knife motionless and rotate the bottle.

The plug comes out a little. Then we try to swing the blade again to deepen the knife even more. And then we wrap it around the towel again and unscrew the remaining cork.
