8 interesting ways to open a bottle without a corkscrew
8 extremely interesting ways to open a bottle without using a corkscrew. I recommend that you familiarize yourself with all of them, since I am sure that you did not know at least half of them, and, perhaps, did not even know about their existence.
Open with a knife
We take a sharp, narrow kitchen knife and insert it into the cork, naturally removing the plastic label first. You need to insert it at an angle.
Next, turn the knife to the side while holding the bottle. The plug should turn along with the blade. It turns out that we are, as it were, turning the cork out of the neck.
A couple of minutes and the bottle is open.
We use a screw and a fork
If you have somewhere to get a long self-tapping screw, then this method will do. Screw it into the center of the plug.
Well, then we pull it out of the bottle using a fork.
Opening the bottle with a gas torch
I would like to say right away that it is not necessary to have a powerful and large burner. A regular pocket lighter will also work. We simply heat the neck where the air is located.
The temperature inside expands the air and pushes the plug out.
We use a compressor to inflate tires
The same can be done with a compressor for inflating tires. Take the nozzle for inflating the balls and insert it through the cork. Under pressure the plug pops out.
Nails and a hammer come into play
Hammer 2-3 nails into the cork.
Next, we pull them out with a nail puller along with the cork.
Scissors come into play
As in the first method, we hammer one blade of scissors into the cork. Next, turn and pull to the top. The plug is almost unscrewed.
Using house keys
You can use the keys from the door lock. We insert the key with force at an angle.
Turn and remove the plug.
Inertial method
We use shoes to soften it. We place the bottle in the sneaker and start hitting it on a hard surface.
Due to inertia, water hammers will occur inside the bottle, which in turn will squeeze out the cork.
Which method is best is up to you to decide.
