We eliminate the problem of fogging windows in the car

Cat litter is nothing more than silica gel with fragrance. It can also be obtained from small bags that are placed in new shoes.

Take socks and fill them with silica gel.

Of course, you can not use socks, but sew the bags yourself from cotton fabric. But with socks it’s somehow faster.
We lay out the bags around the cabin. The best place is under the front seats. They won't bother anyone here.

That's all. Now the windows will no longer fog up. Since silica gel will absorb all excess moisture that could condense on the glass.

Advice

Silica gel is reusable. That is, when after a while the windows begin to fog up again, you need to take out these bags and dry them in the oven at a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius or on a central heating radiator. Then put it back in its place.

Try washing or replacing the cabin filter, that's all.

Not all cars have a cabin filter. In mine, it's not there. There is a place for it though. But installing it... is still a concern. Yes, and they are not for sale for my car. You need to cut it out by hand, so I do it the best I can.

The problem is to buy a cabin filter. What is the name of the car? By any chance, is it a horse?

Come on! And in winter you can shake all the snow off your boots when you get into the car, I doubt it? It will melt and silica gel will no longer help!

The effect will be if the filled sock is blown by a stream of air. It is advisable to wash the sock after wearing it. Or take a new one.

The trick there is in unwashed socks. The longer you wear it, the more it helps.

Isn’t it easier to buy some glycerin at the pharmacy and lightly wipe the glass. Any bespectacled person knows this when he wipes his glasses so that they don’t fog up. Was it difficult to ask these bespectacled people? The glycerin layer is completely invisible, it’s not even visible...

I tried this 3 years ago. Complete nonsense. The only thing you need is to bleed the cabin filter and not turn on the recirculation.

I tried it last season. Does not help. And the author giving advice first needs to work on his erudition. Silica gel does not dry at 100 degrees. Minimum 150. And cabin filters have nothing to do with it. There is an assumption that dampness is rising from the floor. Somewhere under the pile moisture gets in.
