Ants in moderate numbers on a site are beneficial, but when there are a lot of anthills, the insects noticeably eat up the young roots of garden crops, spoil fruits and berries, and most importantly breed aphids on trees. You can get rid of them using boron, and one treatment is sufficient. The advantage of this product is that it is also a fertilizer, so the plants will grow from it.

Ant control process

The existing anthills on the site must be sprinkled with dry boric acid.

If there are cultivated plants nearby, for which an excess of fertilizer in the soil is dangerous, then you should use no more than half a teaspoon of powder.

Then you need to dig up the powder-powdered soil so that the ant, restoring its tunnels, grabs the boron with its mandibles along with the soil particles.

If processing is done in beds, then you need to dig to a depth of 5-7 cm so as not to damage the roots of the plants. In virgin soil you can freely dig with a shovel.

After digging, the soil is watered.
