How to make a gas burner from a gas stove
An old gas stove is not only scrap metal, but also a source of spare parts, for example, for making a burner. Therefore, if it is available, there is no point in buying a burner.
What you will need:
- old gas stove;
- gas hose;
- clamps – 2 pcs.
Burner manufacturing process
You need to remove the top and front panels from the stove. Behind them will be access to the burners and taps. They must be carefully unscrewed with wrenches without breaking anything.
The burner will require a burner, a tube and a tap. The stove contains tubes of different shapes. You need to choose the most convenient one. A suitable tube is screwed into the burner, and a tap is connected to it from below.
In this form, the burner torch is very weak, so you need to unscrew the nozzle and drill it out with a 2 mm drill.
A hose is pulled onto the inlet of the faucet, its second end is connected to the reducer on the cylinder.
You can also paint it with heat-resistant paint if desired.
If the tube heats up during use, you will additionally need to make a wooden cover on it.
