Take this with you to choose a reliable faucet
The main factor influencing the reliability of the mixer is the material it is made of. Good plumbing fixtures are made from brass. Cheaper faucets are made of silumin or zinc alloys. The last 2 are not only fragile when installed, but also short-lived, as they are very quickly corroded from the inside by corrosion.
Mixer material determination process
Not wanting to change faucets every couple of months, you need to choose models made of brass. Since manufacturers often do not write down the material of the body, but only its coating, you can use one trick when buying a mixer.
To determine the material used to make the mixer, you need a small neodymium magnet.
It does not react to silumin and zinc alloys, but is attracted to brass, although not as clearly as to steel.
If the magnet worked, then the mixer is good, at least it will not be eaten away by corrosion in a couple of months, so you can take it.
