How to significantly increase the power of a toy motor so that it can be installed on a drone
Motors from radio-controlled children's cars have a fairly low armature rotation speed, so they are of little use.
If they are upgraded in the proposed way, they will be able to rotate the propeller with sufficient speed to be installed on a model airplane or drone.
Materials:
- motor from a toy;
- enameled wire 0.25 mm.
Motor modernization process
The motor housing is disassembled and the anchor is removed.
Its winding is removed.
Instead, enameled wire is wound. 40 revolutions are made for each section of the core.
When moving from one section to another, the wire is soldered to the contacts; before this, the soldering area is cleared of the coating.
After rewinding, the armature is installed back into the stator and the housing is assembled.
The upgraded motor will begin to rotate very quickly. Its speed will be enough to take off and lift a small weight, of course, with a good propeller installed.
