How to clean tools from dried solution
Once you use a spatula, an indelible layer of putty, plasters, and tile adhesive sticks to its blade. Over time, it becomes so thick that the tool simply has to be thrown away. Don't rush to do this, citric acid will help you.
What you will need:
- large capacity;
- hot water;
- lemon acid.
Spatula cleaning process
You need to choose a container large enough to accommodate a spatula and other tools.
It is placed on the bottom and filled with hot water. It is advisable that it covers it lightly; there is no need to pour too much. Citric acid is added to the water. The more of it, the better. In this case, 5 standard packages of acid are added per 12 liters.
You need to move the water so that the acid dissolves, and leave the spatula in the solution overnight. In the morning, the layers on the instrument will soften and partially fall off. They can be washed off literally with a kitchen sponge.
This must be done immediately after removal from the solution, before the dirt dries back.
