5 useful crafts from the necks and handles of plastic bottles
Plastic bottles can be used to make crafts of varying degrees of usefulness and functionality. We propose to consider 5 devices that definitely work.
The threaded part is cut off from the bottle.
Its cut is sanded with sandpaper.
Then a hole is drilled in the lid.
The result is a removable eyelet. Fabric or a thin awning is placed on the thread and pressed with a lid.
Next, a rope is sewn through them. After this, you don’t have to be afraid that it will break through the awning when tensioned.
The thread of the bottle is cut off. It needs to be cut crosswise in one place and the edges bent outward with pliers.
Holes are drilled in the formed eyes.
The resulting clamp can be used to fasten pipes and corrugations to walls.
The handle is removed from the bottle.
It needs to be screwed to the stand or to the wall using 2 self-tapping screws.
The resulting holder can be used for hanging a screwdriver, glue gun and other tools.
If you make a continuous perforation on the stopper of a bottle or a bottle with a wide neck, you will get a mesh for the sink.
It will be able to retain large particles in the water, preventing them from clogging the drain.
The threads of two bottles are cut off.
The blanks are joined with saw cuts and soldered over the flame of a lighter.
The result is a container that can be opened from both sides. You can store small screws and nails in it.
It will also come in handy on a hike for storing salt and matches. If you drill ventilation holes in it, you will get a worm bin. When fishing, you can open it from the bottom, where the largest concentration of worms is, rather than looking for them in the substrate.
