Broom made from plastic bottles
You can make a very simple and durable broom for your home with your own hands in a very short time. I think everyone has plenty of such material as a plastic bottle. This broom sweeps simply excellent. There's no better way to clean up your yard than a homemade solution.
Needed to make one broom
In total, you will need five plastic bottles with a volume of two or one and a half liters.
A tool that any home or garage probably needs.
Making a panicle
Let's get started. We take four bottles and cut off the bottom of them.
Then, we cut off the necks of the same four bottles so that the narrowing is approximately 1-2 times from the transition, see photo.
Cut off the neck of the fifth bottle so that a slightly straight part of the bottle is captured, see photo:
We cut four parts into strips along the entire diameter, without cutting 1-2 cm to the edge where the neck was. We cut into noodles starting where the bottom of the bottle was.
Four blanks are cut.
We collect the broom. We insert four blanks into one another, like a nesting doll.
We put on the neck of the fifth bottle.
To fix everything and give the broom a flat look, we make two holes with a hot soldering iron.
We tighten it with wire and twist it with pliers.
We put the broom on the handle. If desired, you can fix it with a self-tapping screw.
The broom sweeps beautifully. It will last for a long time. It’s also good that such a broom does not get wet. You can even wash it after work.
