An easy way to descale your iron

When filling the iron with regular water, not distilled water, scale accumulates inside it. Over time, so much of it is formed that steam stops passing through the holes in the sole. In this regard, the iron needs to be cleaned.
What you will need:
- hot water;
- lemon acid;
- napkins, rags.
Iron cleaning process
The iron turns on. While it is heating, the cleaning solution is being prepared. 2 tablespoons of citric acid are dissolved in 0.5 liters of hot water.

The liquid is poured into the heated iron to the maximum level.

Next, you need to press the steam button to rinse the nozzles in the sole with this solution. This is done over a basin of water. When flushing, you will need to pump one or more solution tanks.

As a result, slurry from dissolved scale and rusty sediment present in tap water will come out onto the sole.

Dirty soles are periodically wiped with a rag.

When all the holes are punched, the hot iron is turned on and pumped with plain water to wash away the dissolved plaque.

This is also a long process.You need to rinse until the plaque stops coming out. After this, the iron will be like new.
