How to make a mini TV antenna with high sensitivity
To receive broadcasts from different sources, you need to connect a TV antenna designed for certain transmission conditions. Its development and production is accompanied by complex calculations. The proposed antenna can be adjusted, so no design is required during its assembly. It is simply ideal for portable TVs, since they can work with it anywhere in the world.
A needle-to-needle F connector is screwed onto the pass-through amplifier from the antenna side.
Then a 15 mm piece of outer insulation from the RG6 cable is stretched onto the antenna. It is important to leave 2-3 mm of the tube loose.
Next, the antenna is connected to the F-connector. Everything is strengthened from above with heat shrink. A TV cable is connected to the back of the amplifier using a regular F-connector.
That's it, the antenna is ready for connection. Please note that if your TV or set-top box does not support the amplifier power function, a 5V supply will be required.
After connection, a manual channel search is performed. By changing the length of the antenna, you can experimentally find the position at which the signal will be received best. It itself needs to be mounted horizontally.
