How to make a garden lamp from PVC pipe
Summer evenings in the garden will be filled with special beauty if you hang unusual lamps around. You can make magic and cheap lanterns very simply from ordinary LED lamps and PVC pipes.
Will need
- PVC pipe is 6.3 cm in diameter and 0.5 meters long.
- LED lamp 12 V (220 V).
- Plastic bottle 0.5 liter.
- White electrical tape.
Making a lamp for the garden with your own hands
The bulb of the LED lamp is removed. To make it easier to remove, it is better to trim the compound along the seam with a sharp knife.
Next you will need a piece of PVC pipe approximately 0.5 meters long. The edges of this section on both sides must be leveled and cleared of burrs using sandpaper. Then use a hacksaw to make chaotic cuts at an angle.
After sawing, we go through sandpaper to remove all burrs.
We wrap the end of the lamp with white tape.
We insert it into the pipe and secure it with the same electrical tape.
We screw on the socket with the block for connecting the wire.
Take a PET bottle and cut off the bottom.
We make a hole in the cover for the wire.
We insert the power cord into the hole in the cover. We tie a knot.
We pass the wire through the cut bottle.
We connect the output to the cartridge block.
Screw on the cap and place the bottle on the PVC pipe with the lamp.
Everything should fit tightly.
To be safe, you can blow the end of the bottle with a hair dryer, then it will sit securely.
The lamp is ready!
It shines great! It will perfectly decorate your garden, veranda or terrace.
