How to convert a screwdriver to 220 V
After the screwdriver battery fails, it can be switched to a 220V network. This requires only an adapter and a power supply. This is a very simple modification that does not require much time or large expenses.

The process of modernizing and refining a screwdriver
It is necessary to disconnect the screwdriver battery, disassemble it, and remove the batteries.
It is important to keep the original terminal holders and terminals.
The latter are carefully torn off from the batteries, and a wire with a cross-section of 4 sq. mm is soldered to them. The terminals are then inserted into the holders.
Next, you need to drill the battery case, remove the chamfer on the hole in order to screw the terminal holder through it with an M3 screw, since it will not hold without batteries.
Before installation, a capacitor is soldered to the terminals so that the power supply from the PC does not go into protection against inrush currents.
Since the capacitor will interfere with holding the nut when tightening the screw, it is better to glue it to the terminal holder. The hole for the wire is visible on the side of the battery case.
Then the terminal holder is screwed on and everything is put back together. It is important to remember which terminal of which color wire is soldered to.
According to the sticker on the power supply, you need to determine which wires have a 12 V output and connect to them. If there are 2 such lines, then they are twisted together.
In order for the power supply to turn on without the computer, you need to short any black wire to green. This can be done with a jumper made of a paper clip.
If the power supply turns out to be weak for your screwdriver, it will be protected even with a capacitor. Then you need to connect a separate load to it. It could be an old hard drive. A 5W 6V light bulb installed on the 5V line of the block also helps. By converting your screwdriver in this way, you will retain the ability to disconnect the modified battery case from it at any time and install a regular battery.
