Wood chip stove from the computer power supply case
Fishermen, hunters and tourists often find themselves in places where there is practically no wood to light a fire. In this case, you can use a homemade mini wood chip stove to boil water, cook or heat food. To cook with it, you need to burn wood chips, pine cones and the thinnest branches, which are not so difficult to find.
Materials:
- computer power supply housing;
- metal screws;
- old skewer.
Wood chip stove manufacturing process
The oven is made from an empty case from a PC power supply. In one of its walls you need to cut a loading hole for fuel.
When cutting it, you need to leave 20 mm strips at the top and bottom, which will prevent the firewood from falling out and provide the required rigidity. The side above the loading opening is completely removed.
Ventilation holes are drilled from the sides at the bottom of the stove, and all uneven edges are cleaned.
Next, you need to make 2 stable legs for the stove. They are made U-shaped from an old skewer. The ends of the legs are translucent and screwed from below to the stove using metal screws. One screw is screwed in front of the legs.They will work as limiters so that when tilted into the working position, the racks cannot move apart.
To use the stove, you need to light wood chips in it. The heating utensils are placed on top. The size of the oven allows it to be used as a grill for cooking meat and sausages for one person.
