LED installation of multi-colored lighting effects without do-it-yourself programming

This LED installation has a very small size and a powerful luminous flux. Fits in your pocket, runs on a built-in battery, and charges from any USB outlet.

An installation of WS2812b series pixel LEDs (not to be confused with RGB LEDs) has been built. Usually they are controlled from a controller that needs to be pre-programmed, but not in this case. Aliexpress has ready-made controllers that are connected like a “constructor” and do not require configuration or programming.

Making a color effects installation

Solder the wires from the battery to the charging controller.

Remove the thermal film from the tape controller.

Solder the power wires from the charging board to the RGB WS2812b controller.

On the RGB controller board, the buttons are made in the form of flexible plates. We tear them off with tweezers. Next, we solder our buttons through the wires.

We solder the wires going to the tape to the output of the RGB controller.

We make corresponding holes in the case for buttons and a charging connector.

We install all the elements into the body and fix them with glue.

We cut out a rectangle from an aluminum sheet to the size of the case.

We glue pieces of LED strip cut to width onto it. We connect the segments with wires. Solder the wires from the controller.

Cut out a rectangle from plexiglass or plexiglass.

We install the LED matrix into the housing and cover it with a plexiglass rectangle. We fix everything with glue.

Before use, charge the adapter from your cell phone.

This lighting installation, despite its modest size, provides excellent light. Using the buttons you can select any lighting effect.

This lighting installation scheme is good because it can be expanded to any size.
