The battery of a cordless screwdriver has a much shorter lifespan than its motor and ratchet. As a result, it fails when everything else is quite working. If the same thing happened to your screwdriver, you can convert it from a battery to a 220 V mains.

It is necessary to remove the battery to disassemble its housing.
There is a battery pack inside that needs to be removed. You need to measure the height of the block and cut 2 pieces of plastic pipe under it.
It is necessary that these tubes fit into the battery box so that it can snap into place. Their task is to record contacts. Most likely you will have to file the ends of the tubes, since they will rest against the internal protrusions of the box.
It is necessary to disconnect the contact plates from the previously removed battery pack. They need to be put on plastic tubes. If the diameter of the latter is insufficient, then you can rewind the electrical tape. A wire is soldered to the contact plates.It will need to be passed through tubes tied with electrical tape.
The contacts are put on the tubes. After this, the second end of the wire is connected to the power supply. It is important to check here to ensure correct polarity. The place of twisting or soldering is insulated.
A hole is drilled in the side of the battery housing to enter the wire. Its presence allows you to insert tubes with contacts into the housing. The tubes will support the contacts so that they will be in the same place as before when they were on the battery pack.
Inside the box, the tubes are fixed with hot glue.
After this, the screwdriver will be able to operate from the mains via the power supply. Conversion in this way allows you to still install a regular standard battery in it.
