How to make a battery with voltage regulation up to 36 V

There are many necessary useful electronic devices and devices that require a voltage of 5, 12, 24, 36 V to power them. A regular power bank is not enough for charging smartphones. If you use different devices with a rated voltage of up to 36 V, then you can assemble a regulated battery for them with your own hands.

Materials:

Battery manufacturing process with output voltage regulation

To make a battery box, you need to cut 2 parts from sheet plastic measuring 23x33 mm, 2 - 33x74 mm, and 2 - 26x74 mm.

They need to be connected into a box, leaving one wall open. It is very convenient to glue parts by first securing them with electrical tape.

The battery is placed in the box, and the charge controller is placed on the side.

You need to mark the location of its connector on the walls and cut a hole to access it.

2 wires are soldered to the controller contacts.

The wiring needs to be soldered to the battery.

The battery is then isolated.

The battery and controller are placed in a box and fixed with hot glue.

Next you need to work on the box lid. A hole is made in it for the voltage adjustment screw of the converter.

You also need to cut through the cover for the terminals.

They themselves can be made from a copper tube by cutting it lengthwise, leveling it and spreading it into strips.

The terminals are bent and glued into the cover.

Next you need to tin them.

The converter is glued to the bottom of the cover.

Its contacts must be connected to the terminals and the controller.

All you have to do is glue the cover in place, and the battery is ready for use.

The regulated battery is charged from a conventional 5 V unit.

By rotating the adjusting screw, you can adjust it to different voltages from 3.5V to 36V.

Let's set the output to 4 V.

Let's set the output voltage to 12 V.

And at the end we will set it to a maximum of 36 V.

Everything works perfectly.

I forgot to put the toggle switch, since the converter consumes current even in idle mode. The battery will be constantly discharged.
