How to easily make comfortable scaffolding
When finishing the façade of a building or laying walls, it is impossible to do without scaffolding. With them, working at heights is much safer and more convenient than using a ladder. Scaffolding does not have to be a bulky structure that takes a couple of hours to assemble. They can be made compact and lightweight using the following design.
What you will need:
- Reinforcement 10-14 mm;
- inch board;
- nails.
Scaffolding manufacturing process
The first step is to make 2 pairs of scaffolding fastenings. To do this, 4 identical claws with a side length of 80-120 mm are bent from the reinforcement.
Then you should bend 2 crossbars on which the floor of the scaffolding will lie.
They are a U-shaped bracket with a folded edge. That is, we bend so that the ends of the reinforcement eventually meet. The length of the parts must correspond to the width of the shield or board that will be used as the scaffolding floor.
The ends of the crossbars are welded. Then 2 claws are welded to each of them. It is important to observe the direction of their rotation as in the photo.
Now we assemble 2 racks for scaffolding from the board. To make them stable, cross-shaped wide legs are stuffed underneath.
With the help of claws, the made fasteners are secured to the racks, and a knocked together shield or a wide board is inserted into them.
That's it, the scaffolding is ready for work.
Unlike the classic version, they are very quick to assemble, disassemble and rearrange higher.
