3 useful life hacks for repairs

How nice it is to fix something broken, thereby saving on replacing it. This collection includes 3 ideas for simple, quick renovations. All of them are easy to repeat even for a completely inexperienced person.

1. Repairing the fastening of the handle of a floor brush or mop

If the handle mount on a floor brush or mop has broken off, you need to cut off the remains cleanly, forming a flat base.

Next, take a tee for plastic pipes and cut off its wall, as in the photo.

After that, we warm it up and unfold the pliable plastic.

The made mount can be screwed onto a brush or mop with self-tapping screws. Then a handle is installed in it.

2. Quick and secure installation of the hammer handle

The hammer handle, installed using a wedge, may fall out when it dries out. This will not happen if you secure it with a self-tapping screw. We drill the handle for it, then hammer it.

Next, tighten the self-tapping screw and washer.

3. Free sanding pads for the renovator

From old sandpaper with Velcro from an angle grinder or a sander with frayed edges, you can cut sandpaper for the renovator.We simply draw a triangular nozzle in their center and cut off the excess along the contour with scissors.
