An unusual and simple way to make a heated floor in a bathhouse
Many people, after building a bathhouse, are faced with the fact that when the stove is lit, the floor remains cold. The result is an unpleasant contrast with the hot air above. This problem can be solved by simply modifying the stove.
What you will need:
- Steel corner 63x63x5 mm;
- welding machine;
- Bulgarian.
The process of making heated floors
From a school physics lesson we know that warm air tends to rise, and cold air goes down. Based on this principle, it is necessary to make minor modifications to the sauna stove. To do this, a box of two corners is vertically welded to it. It needs to be placed under the plank flooring.
Thus, when the stove is lit, hot air will rise through the box, creating powerful draft. As a result, the cold under the floor will disappear very quickly and the boards will become warm. To increase efficiency, you can weld several of these boxes, placing their lower edges in different corners of the steam room to evenly expel cold air from under the floor throughout the room.
