Unattractive notepad
Probably, many people have some uninteresting notebook or notebook in their closet or shelf that they don’t want to use just because of its boring appearance. Today I want to share with you a recipe on how you can transform an old notebook, return it to usefulness and make it interesting.
So, for this experiment you will need:
- any paints. I used my favorite watercolor. I love its delicate shades and the “wateriness” of the image.
- a notepad, notebook or any other item for alteration.
- a white piece of paper. It must be dense so that it does not “lead” from water and paint.
- a glass of water.
- brush, pencil, pen with black ink or black gel pen.
- glue.
- ruler.
We start by making markings on a white sheet of paper. The rectangle that we will cut should be slightly smaller than the cover of your notebook or notebook.
Cut out the drawn rectangle and try it on the cover. Then we glue it with dry glue or PVA, whichever you like best and have on hand now.
Now comes the most interesting moment - the creative part. I decided to draw funny chickens on the cover. The other day I saw a similar picture on the Internet and was very excited about this idea.
So, with different colors, you can even mix them with each other, we make round blots. These will be the bodies of our cute chickens.
Use whatever paint you used to draw the chickens to paint the side of the pad where it folds. This way the picture will become integral with the notepad. Next, mix green and black paint and draw grass and an uneven frame for our picture.
In principle, our drawing is almost ready. We won't need paints anymore. All that remains is to wait until everything dries and begin the final part of the transformation. Be sure to wait until the paint dries, otherwise the block will not paint according to the drawing.
When everything has dried, we outline the contours of our chickens, draw their legs, beak, eyes, tails and wings. Then, without trying too hard to repeat the outline of the frame, draw a similar design along it with a pen.
That's all, now you have a new, beautiful and not boring notebook. You can give it to a friend, give it to a child, or keep it for yourself. It’s safe to say that it will be a pleasure to use such a notebook and write down only sweet, heart-warming things in it. You can make cards for friends in the same way.
