Decorating a wall in an easy and affordable way
We often get bored with our usual and monotonous lifestyle. I want to brighten up my gray days with positivity and bright events. At such moments, any change around brings joy. For example, it can be brought by changing the interior or decorating a wall.
How can you decorate an empty wall with minimal expenditure of material, effort and time?
At the same time, not only adults, but also children of any age can enjoy the process. The answer is simple - make eight-pointed stars using the origami, decorate each star, and then decorate the wall with them.
You will need: colored paper, glue, tape and your favorite family photos.
To begin, take a sheet of A4 size paper.
Fold it in half.
We bend the corner on either side to later obtain identical squares.
We bend the excess part and tear it off (or cut it off) along the line.
We open the previously bent triangles and tear them along the line so that we get 2 squares.
In the resulting square, fold the sides diagonally, unfold and bend the edges into a “valley”.
We will need 8 such figures.
Next, glue them one to another so that the tips coincide and are in the middle, and the edge of one touches the diagonal of the other figure.
When all 8 pieces are glued, turn them over. We have an eight-pointed star.
Making stars is very easy and quick, so you can make them in different sizes and colors.
You can decorate such stars with photographs, or write something to each other on them.
Using double-sided tape we glue our stars to the wall. Thanks to the paper, which is not tightly glued to the back of the star, the star also does not fit tightly to the wall, which creates a volume effect, and when illuminated from different angles, a peculiar play of shadows is obtained.
A simple and accessible wall decoration is ready! A sea of positivity and interest is guaranteed. Enjoy the changes in your usual things!
