11 mice per night. The best DIY mousetrap

11 mice per night The best DIY mousetrap

This is simply the best mousetrap design I've ever seen. It is simple, accessible and very effective in operation. With its help you can exterminate entire battalions of mice. In one night I managed to catch 11 pieces at once! It seems to me that this is a truly colossal result.

Making a sliding mousetrap

So, what will it take? Special shaft for catching mice. I bought it on AliExpress - .
But no one is stopping you from doing something similar yourself. Therefore, this is not an advertisement, but a very useful idea.

Next, take a ten liter bucket. We drill holes in it for the shaft in diameter. Then we insert the shaft and check that it should rotate freely.

Then we make such approaches for mice from planks and screw them to the bucket with self-tapping screws.

Pour half a bucket of water. Walnut paste is used as bait. We take a wooden sliver or spoon (you can’t smear it with your hands - this will scare away rodents) and smear a small piece in the very center of the shaft. And a couple of mini drops for the smell on the approaches and at the beginning of the shaft.

Leave it overnight.

Mousetrap at work

The shooting was carried out with a camera with infrared illumination. The mouse got to the pasta and started eating it.

And then it suddenly staggered, which was enough for the shaft to turn. As a result, the mouse fell into the water.

Of course, she can’t get out on her own. In the morning I found 11 dead mice in the bucket.

This is such a super efficient design.
To ensure that rodents cannot get out of the bucket, smear its walls with liquid soap. Then they definitely won't have any chance.

Once I bought it at the Magnit store, like spreading it on bread, for an amateur.

not a new thing, for 5 years now I’ve been using a half-liter plastic bottle instead of a super shaft, the effect is the same.

A stick selected according to the diameter of the bucket and two sewing needles instead of purchased stuff (the principle is the same. Instead of a knurled shaft, a light wooden stick so that the inertia is less and the stick rotates easier, needles are stuck through the walls of the bucket into the ends of the stick, clearly into the center of the stick (replacing bearings) The stick is round, polished. And the bucket can be buried in the ground if, for example, there is a construction site or a dacha, instead of paste, fried lard.

Good day! It is better to pour oil (exhaust) into a bucket - it does not freeze in winter, and does not evaporate in summer. My 3 mice - https://youtu.be/9HPo4wcHEYg

You can pour just a little water and then throw the rats somewhere far away
