A vase for flowers
It's always nice to do something with your own hands. And if your friends also like it, then it’s doubly pleasant. In addition, such things exist in a single copy, so they can be perfectly used as a gift.
To make a wonderful flower vase we will need:
- glass bottle;
- aerosol paint;
- napkin for decoration;
-PVA glue;
-threads for decoration;
- rhinestones for decoration;
-water;
-toothpick;
- aerosol auto varnish.
Stages of work:
Apply a thin layer of paint to the glass bottle using an aerosol can. The color of the paint depends on your desire or the color scheme on the napkins. The paint layer should be a little thicker on the top and bottom of the bottle. Floral motifs will be glued in these places later. The bottle must be clean, dry, without unnecessary stickers, and must be cleaned first.
After applying paint to all surfaces, leave to dry (there are instructions on the can). Meanwhile, cut out the floral motifs from the napkin.
Carefully separate the top layer so as not to damage the design.
Using PVA glue, glue the cut out flowers onto the bottle in the desired places.
Let it dry so that the drawings do not move from their place in further work.Next, we begin decorating our future vase with thread. To do this, cut a thread about 10 centimeters long from a skein.
Wetting the thread first in water and then in glue, we begin to carefully apply it to the vase in random curls. Wet thread fits well on the surface. During the process, be sure to remove excess glue.
Don't worry if the curls are a little crooked. Using a toothpick, you can fix the pattern.
We fill the entire surface with openwork curls of thread.
Let the patterns dry well. Then we continue to decorate the vase using rhinestones, but not very thickly. The vase should look delicate.
The last stage is to cover the entire surface of the vase with spray paint. And the flower vase is ready.
