Glamorous monkey
To sew a monkey, we need:
• A pair of terry baby socks;
• Holofiber (for filling the toy);
• Needle;
• Thread;
• Scissors.

1. Next, carefully mark the pattern on the toes with a black felt-tip pen. From one sock you get the head, body and legs, from the other - ears, paws, tail and muzzle.

2. Then we cut the socks into separate parts, following our markings.

3. Now we take the first sock and sew together the parts of the legs and head. We do not sew the head completely, but leave literally 1 cm so that the body can be filled with filler.

Through the unfinished hole, we turn the sock inside out, fill the monkey’s body with the prepared filler and sew the left hole with an invisible seam. The toy can be filled with a variety of materials that you have on hand. Natural fillers: wool, down, cotton wool, tights and rags. You can also fill the toy with bulk cereals, namely buckwheat or rice. Rice toys are great for children under three years old, as by playing with them, the baby develops hand motor skills.
The most suitable fillers for socks are synthetic fillers: synthetic fluff, padding polyester, foam rubber or silicone balls. In our case, we will use holofiber. This very springy filler is in the form of rolled balls.
4. Then we sew together all the other parts except the muzzle and, turning it right side out, fill it with holofiber.

5. Sew the tail and paws to the monkey’s butt.

6. Then we sew a muzzle, pre-filled with padding polyester, to the head.

7. Now we sew on the ears and proceed and glue the eyes. You can decorate a monkey in different ways. In this case, we sew a toy handbag, a comb, and a flower to the monkey’s head.
