How to quickly peel a pineapple?
1. Rinse the pineapple under running water and wipe with a paper towel. Then take the sharpest knife (preferably ceramic) and cut off the base of the fruit, and then the top with leaves. After this you should have something like a cylinder.
2. Place the pineapple vertically on a cutting board and remove the skin from each side, making slices at least 1cm thick.
3. You may find it a bit wasteful to make such large cuts. But in fact, this simply needs to be done, since the pineapple pulp a centimeter from the skin is very viscous and too fibrous.
4. Peeled pineapple can be cut into rings or cubes. Moreover, cubes are much faster. To do this, the fruit must be cut vertically in half, and then into quarters and cubes. The core of a pineapple is quite hard and is considered inedible, so it must be cut out.
