Decorative shelf made of plywood box
To create a shelf you will need:
• wooden fruit box;
• magazine tubes – 151 pieces;
• small mirror;
• scissors;
• double sided tape;
• universal glue “cosmofen”.
A small mirror is glued to the center of the bottom of the plywood box using cosmofen glue. Then the entire remaining surface is covered with double-sided tape. The tubes are laid in dense rows at an angle along the entire bottom surface.
The box is turned over onto the wide edge side and the procedure for covering the lower inner shelf is repeated. It will look more impressive if you place the paper vine here at an angle too. The excess is carefully trimmed off.
Now the outer side of the box is covered with double-sided tape. The vine is placed strictly vertically. To secure the structure, the edges are coated with special “cosmofen” glue.
With tubes, smoothed to a flat state, all joints of the coating and side edges are decorated using the same glue. All created planes are generously coated with PVA glue and dried.
The parts of the shelf that are not covered by magazine tubes are covered with red acrylic paint, and the areas created from the tubes are covered with white paint.
Patterns with flowers are cut out of paper napkins and glued with PVA glue to the inner surface of the shelf. The top of the drawing is carefully coated with stationery glue.
The final operation is to coat the product with colorless acrylic-based varnish. The finished original shelf can be placed in the bathroom.
