Bracelet "Shambhala"
Shambhala bracelets are considered fashionable bracelets for 2013-2014. These bracelets are considered not only a fashionable decoration, but also a talisman that protects against everything bad. These bracelets gained their popularity since Tibet; they protected people from evil spirits and bad surroundings. Now you can learn how to weave these bracelets yourself and wear them with absolutely any outfit. Why are they good and unique? In Shambhala, you can use completely different stones, both natural and artificial. They can also come in a wide variety of shapes. In this master class we will master weaving a shamballa bracelet from natural stones.
For weaving we need:
Black waxed cord, you need about 2.5 meters, cord thickness 1 mm;
Natural stones: with a diameter of 1 cm we will need - 1 tiger eye, 4 aventurines, with a diameter of 8 mm - 4 pieces of tiger eyes mixed with aventurine and 2 tiger eye stones with a diameter of 5 mm;
Two separators with rhinestones - rondelli;
PVA glue;
Manicure scissors;
Lighter;
Any item with a handle or loop so that the cord can be secured for ease of weaving.

We cut two pieces of cord, one 60 cm and the second 120 cm.We will have a short cord in the center, so we will call it “central”. We step back about 10 cm and tie the cord to the handle of the cup.

We pass the second cord from below and tie it in a knot. Now we take the left cord, fold it into a ring, and place it under the central one.

We also fold the right cord into a half ring and, conversely, place it on top of the central cord. Now we pass the right cord from above into the left loop, and we pass the left cord from below into the right loop. Tighten the knot tightly. This is what we have made of a half knot. We start the second part of the knot in reverse: we place the right cord in a half ring under the central one, and put the left cord in a half ring on top. We pass the loops inward and from the inside and tighten the second half of the knot. We get a full double knot.

In total we weave five double knots in this way.

Now we take the stones and roughly lay out the desired sequence of stones on the bracelet.

We put a mixed stone bead on the central cord and braid it with a double knot.

In total we braid four stones in this way. Now we string the rondelle, the tiger eye stone and the rondelle again. We fasten the entire combination with a double knot.

We add the remaining four stones.

When the last stone is secured, we weave, as in the beginning, five double knots. Tighten the last one tightly and cut it off, leaving small ends. We spread glue near the loop itself so that when we cut the cord, it does not unravel. Dry it. We put a small tiger eye on one end and tie the edge with a knot.

We cut the cord 30 cm, we will make a lock. We measure the bracelet on the hand, fold it into a ring, thread the cord, and tie a knot. And we also weave seven double knots.

On the last loop we tighten it more tightly, cut it off, and apply glue to the cord at the cutting site.

We cut at the places of tying. We put a bead on the other end and tie it. We tighten the lock and the “shambhala” is ready. Good luck and thanks for your attention!
