Tilda the goat Nastasya
Tilda the goat Nastasya
On the eve of the year of the goat, it is a good idea to have its symbol in your home so that the year passes successfully and happily. And at the same time please yourself and your loved ones with such a wonderful creation. I will describe in detail the process of making such a goat Nastasya, and you can easily make your own unique little thing.

I give the drawing in full size, I specially put a ruler next to it so that you can orient yourself with the dimensions.

Place the patterns on a fabric folded face to face, preferably linen. Trace along the contour, secure with pins before stitching so as not to move the parts. Sew and trim excess edges, leaving no more than 4 mm. Make notches along the edge.

Make small cuts for further stuffing and turn all parts of the goat inside out.

Stuff the parts tightly with padding polyester using a pencil.

Carefully tuck the fabric inside the horns and pin them to their intended locations.

Sew the horns with a hidden or other seam, it doesn’t matter. Pin the ears to the sewing points - on the back of the head behind the horns.

Sew on the ears, using a seam over the edge.

Attach the legs to the body - side view

and sew them on using buttons.

Now we need to dress the goat festively. To do this, take any fabric that harmonizes in color, cut out two rectangles, and overcast the long sides.

Sew the lace on a machine; natural ones are better, they look much more impressive than nylon ribbons.

Cut a narrow strip of fabric in half - these will be the sleeves of the sundress. Sew all the details and finish the edge with a blanket stitch.

Turn out the details of the sundress.

Sew the buttons to the arms dressed in the sleeves and gather the top of the sundress with thread.

Now carefully sew the top of the sundress to the neck of our goat, maybe over the edge. Try to keep the sewing line along the neckline straight. In the future we will cover it with lace, but it is narrow and wide will be ugly.

Attach the sleeves with handles to the sewing line of the upper cut of the sundress, pin with pins to secure and sew.

Sew the lace to the sundress, you can limit it to the neck.

Decorate the hooves with threads or paints. Decorate your face. Embroider the goat's eyes, nose, mouth, and make eyelashes. You can paint a face with paints on fabric, sew beads instead of eyes - all this is left to your imagination. For some reason I like embroidering. To keep your eyelashes in shape, moisten them with sweet water.

All that remains is to make the braid. Wrap a wool thread, preferably fluffy and light, on an ordinary notepad. There is no need to make a thick braid - the goat is small and slender, so as not to burden the image too much.

Cut through the wound skein on one side. Create a braid. Leave the bangs, braid it and tie it with a bow or, like me, with a floss thread.

Sew on a braid and throw it over your shoulder. You can give the braid in your hands, twirl it around your head - everything is up to your imagination and preference. You can give the goat a basket of flowers, a chocolate bar, or a gift bag.Yes, anything! Good luck!
