Tilda "Goose"
Tilda style toys are always bright, funny and unusual. In my master class, I propose to sew Tilda the Goose, a caring mother and thrifty housewife.

Patterns and patterns
Any tailoring begins with a pattern. The height of the doll is 53 cm. It consists of 5 different parts. But in total you will need 8 parts, since the wing, leg and foot are duplicated. The goose's body is a square. The fabric for the body is thick cotton. You can use linen, although it is rough, or beige mattress fabric. We make all patterns in pairs.

Head and torso
I made all the details of the goose’s body, except the beak and legs, from milky cotton. We will sew the beak and paws from felt - yellow and red. We sew the beak to the head.

Then we sew squares to the neck, which will become the body of the goose. Only then do we sew the two parts together and turn them inside out. We embroider the eyes with black floss thread. We stuff it with padding polyester.

Paws and wings
Red goose feet consist of 3 parts. First, we sew small rectangles of felt to the bottom of the leg patterns. This will be the back of the legs.

Cut out 4 identical pieces of legs from red felt. Cut off the back of two parts. Moreover, the length of the semicircle of the cut part should be equal to the length of the rectangle of the back of the legs. We sew the cut pieces to the bottom of the other two leg patterns.

Now we sew the leg patterns.

The remaining intact parts of the legs will be the feet. We sew them with the upper parts with a decorative seam.

We stuff the legs and sew them into the body.

Now we sew the wing parts together. We stuff and sew to the body. The goose's body is ready.

Cloth
Let's start dressing Tilda Goose from her panties. To do this, cut out four identical trapezoids from white cotton and sew them in pairs along the sides. Turn it inside out and sew on the lace. Then we sew each pant leg separately to the body of the goose, where the body and legs are sewn.

We make the shirt from one pattern. Cut out the neckline and sew the sides of the shirt.

Then we bend the strip of fabric in half and make a stand-up collar. We decorate the sleeves with lace and braid. We hem the bottom. We make the skirt from a rectangle with one back seam.

We put a shirt on the goose. We gather the skirt at the waist and sew it to the shirt. The skirt should be slightly higher than the pants. We collect the bottom of the pants so that they look beautifully from under the skirt with a ribbon.

We sew a cap. Cut out two rectangles from the fabric. On one side, we sew lace between the rectangles. The back of the cap is a part curved in the form of an arch.

We sew two parts.

The goose's dress will be decorated with an apron. We sew it from two pieces of white cotton. We trim the perimeter with lace. We cut a hole in the middle. Carefully fold the edges inward and sew.

We put an apron and cap on the goose. I folded the bottom of the cap and stitched it. To ensure that the cap fits tightly on the head, I narrowed the back part slightly at the bottom.

We draw a blush on the goose’s cheeks, like Tilda dolls. We pass the blue ribbon through the collar and collect it. We tie the cap with the same ribbon. Tilda Goose is ready. This goose can be given to a child as a doll or as a souvenir to an adult.
