Clock with the image of a Goat
You need to meet the Patroness of 2015 - the Wooden Goat - correctly, then for the next 365 days she will not show her whims and snatch luck from your hands. Preparations for the New Year include decorating the room. Here it is advisable to use wooden objects, bells, green and blue shades. It would be great if the portrait of the Mistress of the Year would be displayed in a prominent place. We propose to create a craft - an imitation of a clock with the image of a green Goat. We will need: a sketchbook, paints, scissors, rain, a round lid from a plastic container, glue, an envelope folder for notebooks with a button, tape, pine cones, chestnuts.
The colors of the craft are deliberately dominated by green, white and brown. The expected Guest loves them. First we work with the plastic cover. Select the size of the pattern that will be in the center of the dial. We mark the approximate height and width on a piece of paper.
Then we look for a picture with the image of a Goat and copy (redraw, circle) it onto an A4 sheet.
We decorate the portrait with paints.
If possible, cut out a ready-made picture; you cannot miss a good opportunity. We measure the diameter of the lid and cut out the corresponding circle from a landscape sheet.
We take the rain, apply it along the edge and cut off a strip of the required length. We carefully secure the rain with tape in several places, forming a frame.
Glue a round sheet with a cloven-hoofed animal with PVA.
We select 4 pine cones and glue them in place of the numbers 3, 6, 9, 12.
Place small chestnuts between the cones. If there are no chestnuts, just add 3 numbers each. Cones can be replaced with small Christmas balls. We cut out 2 arrows from an old envelope folder and use plastic in the area of the button.
We attach it to the dial. The button will even allow you to change the time on the watch. In our case, the arrows show “23-50”. That is, it's almost midnight. Miracles begin.
The clock is ready, all that remains is to find a place to put it.
The Wood Goat will definitely appreciate your efforts and will be generous with your present the whole next year.
