Creative Christmas tree
As you know, the main decoration in the house for the New Year holiday is the Christmas tree. Today I propose to make a creative Christmas tree - a green beauty made of wool. To make this craft you will need special skills and tools.
So, for work you need to prepare:

First, we form a cone of the required size from padding polyester using a needle No. 36.

Then we wrap the cone with green wool.

We apply the wool so that there are no white gaps, as densely as possible.

Now we felt well, and when the shape is already emerging, we form the top.

Carefully insert the wire through the top. It should reach the middle of the height of the Christmas tree. Now carefully felt the entire product until it becomes dense. First, use a needle No. 36, then change to a needle No. 38 and No. 40. If you don’t have wire, you can leave the top without it, just make it shorter. When you then decorate the top with a star, it will fall down under the weight. This version of the Christmas tree also looks nice.

Now let's move on to the trunk. We wrap the stick with padding polyester and wrap it with wool on top and felt it.

We carefully connect the resulting part to the Christmas tree using wool as shown in the photo. Let's roll these parts well.

At the next stage, we strengthen our craft in a pot with cement. To do this, dilute the cement with water and pour it into a pot. Now we’ll place the Christmas tree there and leave it to harden for a while.

In the meantime, let's make a mesh decoration for the pot. We bend the edges of the mesh to the center and attach it with a needle and thread.

Then, retreating 4-5 centimeters from the edge, we collect everything in a circle on a thread and tighten it. The result is a mesh basket like the one in the photo.

Decorate the basket with a golden ribbon.

Now you need to prepare the decorations. To do this, we first form balls from padding polyester.

We felt the balls using a needle No. 36.

We make as many balls as we want toys. Then we wrap each ball with wool and felt it to the desired density. I used wool of different colors.

Next we make a star in the same way as toys.

These are the Christmas tree decorations you get.

We make bows from ribbons according to the number of Christmas tree decorations.

Now we decorate our New Year's beauty. Using glue, we attach toys and bows to the Christmas tree (use whatever glue is convenient for you, I glued it with a hot glue gun). First apply glue to the bottom of the mesh basket so that it sticks to the pot. Now we insert the Christmas tree into the pot and fill it with gypsum (cement) mortar. We lay blue wool on top and lightly roll it onto the mesh, only carefully so as not to break the needle. The Christmas tree is ready!
