To create a flower you will need:
1. Satin ribbons of three colors. Two types of ribbons are 4 cm wide, and the ribbon that will make up the outer layer of the petal should be 5 cm.
2. Wood burner.
3. Hot melt adhesive.
4. Hair tie.
5. The middle is a bright element made of rhinestones.
First, the ribbons need to be cut into squares. This can be done with a ruler-based burner, but only on glass or tiles. The size of the square is the same as the width of the tape, that is, the blanks will be 4 by 4 and 5 by 5 cm.
To recreate the sharp triple petal that is the base of the flower, you need to bend each element twice. At the first bend, you get a large triangle:
With the second central bend, a smaller triangle is obtained from four layers of satin.
All elements of different colors overlap each other with a minimum gap of approximately 1 mm.If you retreat a greater distance, then the work below will not be even and the base of the petal will not be able to be neatly soldered.
Once again, bend all layers of satin exactly along the middle line and fix the work.
Now you need to work as a burner. Place the product on the glass, press the bottom of the petal with a metal ruler and, pressing on the tool, draw one straight line to cut off all the rags of material and solder the petal.
Sew eight petals at the very edge into a whole flower.
Petals for insertion between the main elements are created using a different principle.
First, fold the square.
Then bend the sharp corners to the base where the right angle is located.
Bend the workpiece like this:
And use a burner to solder the lower layers to complete the formation of the petal.
A flower of triple petals is glued onto a round fabric base (approximately 2.5 cm in diameter). Then additional petals are glued onto the base between the sharp petals.
Turn the product over and stick on a hair tie (or brooch).
