Hair clip in boho style rose made of foamiran
Decoration in boho style is distinguished by the ability to combine different materials.
To work on the product we take the following:
- foamiran in peach, white and brown colors.
- lighter.
- “Moment” glue.
- a little lace.
- floral wire.
- medium-sized beads in yellow and brown shades.
- organza with iridescent color.
- pearlescent eye shadow.
- Polish for hair.
- a piece of foil.
First, we draw templates for the flower. Rose petals look like droplets of different sizes. And we need three, 5.5 x 4 cm, 5 x 3.5 cm and 4.5 x 3 cm. The base is an oval for the entire composition measuring 7 x 5 cm. And the leaves are measuring 4 x 2.5 cm.
Using templates, we cut out 5 large petals from peach plastic suede, 8 medium-sized petals, and 10 small petals. We prepare 6 pieces of brown suede leaves.
The gluing will consist of separate 6 parts. From brown suede we cut 3 strips measuring 1 x 5 cm. And we also divide each one diagonally into long triangles. We round off their wide side.
We return to the petals, and process each one in turn using a lighter. First, we heat the wide edge from below and it itself curls a little towards the heat.
Then we also warm the middle of the petal from below, and while the suede is warm, we make a depression on top with our thumbs. The main thing is that the twist and bulge are on the same side.
We process all rose petals in this way. We simply knead only 3 small pieces with our fingers, without twisting the edges or bending the middle.
Take 10 x 10 cm foil and crumple it into a droplet shape. We glue this droplet base for the flower onto a toothpick. And we begin assembling the rose. First we glue 3 small petals onto the foil, which are even. We fasten them tightly pressed to the foil, placing them on top of each other in a circle. Lubricate the workpieces completely with glue.
Then we attach the remaining small petals with a twist.
We proceed to fixing 8 medium-sized blanks, we also glue them in a circle, but we lubricate the petals with glue only to the middle.
And we attach the large ones on top, turning the rose face down. We glue them in a circle.
The rose is collected and we cut off the toothpick.
For the Boho style we make inserts from organza, we’ll make them simply. We cut squares with a side of 5 cm, fold this blank in half, once again, bring the edges together and secure with a lighter.
To give our rose a pearlescent tint, we take eye gloss and hairspray. Spray the petal with varnish and rub the mother-of-pearl over the wet area.
Now we attach organza inserts into the rose, between the petals, distributing them throughout the flower.
It's time for the brown leaves, cut out the cloves along their edges.
We fold the gluing blanks one on top of the other and twist them together with our fingers, straightening them a little. And on the leaves we make veins-grooves with the blunt end of scissors.
We paint the edges of the finished leaves with mother-of-pearl, and then spray them with varnish to secure them.
To the middle of the wrong side we glue the flower backing, consisting of 6 parts. At the place of fastening we glue a circle with a diameter of 1.5 cm made of the same suede.
We will make small decorations for our composition from beads and small flowers. We cut 6 pieces of 15 cm from the wire, take the same number of beads. We place each bead in the middle and twist the wire together. Then we wind this bead with wire around a ballpoint pen to make a spring. We collect bouquets of 3 beads together. We cut out strips of suede for fastening at the bottom.
From white suede we cut out 8 circles with a diameter of 3 cm. We cut 8 pieces of wire 18 cm long. We attach a bead in the middle to each wire and twist the wire. Fold the circles in half and twist them with your fingers, straightening them a little. We thread a wire with a bead into the center of each flower and seal it.
Now all the small details for decoration are ready.
We cut out 2 oval base pieces from thick fabric, measuring 7 x 5 cm. On one circle on the front side we glue lace along the outer edge.
On the second oval we make notches for clamping, thread it through and secure it.
And on the wrong side we fasten both bases together.
Let's start assembling the entire composition. On the side where the base of the clamp is located we place two branches with beads, and direct the flowers to the opposite edge. Glue 3 sheets on both sides on top of the attachment points.
And all that remains is to secure the finished rose in the middle of the clip, the decoration is ready.
Good luck to all.
