About combining drawing with application

The world around us is so diverse and colorful! It is not surprising that the child is fascinated by him, mesmerized - after all, there are intriguing questions, riddles, and discoveries at every step. Children are able to express feelings based on impressions in different ways. Most often, brushes, pencils, and crayons become their mediators that convey emotions. Looking at the fruits of children's creativity, you understand that children animate every picture and mentally create a fairy-tale plot based on it. Let's try to develop it?

The simplest application is an activity accessible to preschoolers that can be combined with drawing. Let the young artist depict, for example, some animal with unevenly colored skin - a zebra, a giraffe.
We cover the paper inside the outline with paint that matches the background color, that is, we first make the African horse simply white, and the animal with a long neck – yellow or light orange. Now we cut out wavy black stripes and irregularly shaped rectangles. We glue the first ones on the zebra’s body, the second ones on the giraffe’s back and neck. The thicker the material for the applique, the more relief the picture will turn out.

Looking for ideas in the craft box
The child draws a New Year's card, charging it with goodness and a positive mood. True, a deer harnessed to a sleigh resembles a hybrid of a cow and an antelope, but it is funny. What a wonderful tree! Meanwhile, something is missing from it... Probably shiny buttons that should play the role of balls, gilded nuts, gingerbread. We grease the buttons with glue, place them on fluffy pine paws and say: “Garland, light up!” There is no shame in showing a masterpiece created by a little master to Santa Claus.
There are too many heavy gray shades in the autumn landscape, because the young painter feels the sad charm of October days. Some original finishing touch is needed that does not contradict the pathos of the canvas in order to fully reflect the character of late autumn. Cover the landscape sheet over the dried watercolor with an adhesive pencil (in whole or in fragments), sprinkle with blue emerald green and mother-of-pearl beads. Raindrops, which turned into miniature beads, instantly enlivened the gloomy palette.

Let's get creative
Dad has a huge bottle of shaving foam. Why does he need so much? Let's borrow a little so that the caps on the tops of the drawn mountains seem fluffy and soft. Shake the can, direct the spray nozzle to the desired places and gently press. And now the tops of the rocks are shrouded in real snow, and large flakes hover above them - these are snowflakes connected in flight.
Does your father shave with an electric razor, so he doesn't use foam? No problem! Every family has toothpaste in their bathroom. The replacement is quite equivalent. After all, there is semolina, and it also makes a wonderful winter composition.
