Clip “Lush daisy”

Chamomiles are the most popular wildflowers, from which they weave wreaths, tell fortunes on the petals, and collect them in bouquets. But unfortunately, they, like all living flowers, quickly fade. But there is an opportunity to make a daisy from ribbons, which will decorate your hair and remind you of warm summer, even on the frostiest day!

To make the “Lush Daisy” clip you will need:
- hairclip.
- tape about 25 mm wide, yellow.
- glue gun.
- stamens for light green flowers.
- white tape with a width of at least 50 mm.
- finishing yellow mesh.
- leaves for decoration made from light green ribbon with golden thread around the edges.
- cabochon.
- contour with yellow sparkles.
Making a hair clip.
First you need to prepare to make blanks from white tape, the width of which should be at least 50 mm. From it you need to cut parts with a side length of 5 cm. You will need 25 such blanks.

Then triangles should be made from each part, folding them along the diagonal.

Now the corners of the parts need to be turned to the middle, starting from the right side.

Then you need to repeat the action, but now from the left edge.

The result is rectangular parts with fold strips in the middle. These two lines will be a guide for further actions. The parts must be bent in half exactly along these strips.

Thin corners need to be cut off and immediately treated with fire.

Now you need to leave 0.6 cm of tape along the entire length of the petal, cut off the excess and scorch it with fire, connecting all the folds of the fabric.

The results are long and narrow petals.

You will need 25 pieces of similar parts for clamping.

The white petals should be glued together to form an even circle.

Now you need to make a center for the chamomile. The center is a small yellow flower with added stamens. The petals for this flower are created in the same sequence as the part for the chamomile, differing only in length. Since the yellow petals should be made from a ribbon 25 mm wide, their length will be 1.5 cm. A total of 8 such petals need to be made. They need to be connected by gluing them into a small circle.

Stamens with light green tips should be attached to the resulting yellow flower. The center of the flower needs to be complemented with a cabochon.

Now you need to cut a long strip with parameters of 3x20 cm from the yellow finishing mesh. Then along its edge you need to sew a line with small stitches, using a regular sewing needle and reinforced thread.

The resulting stitch now needs to be tightly pulled together to form folds and both short sections connected together, forming a circle.

It is necessary to fasten a yellow flower on top of the resulting part, placing it strictly in the center.

It turns out a lush center for a chamomile; all that remains is to secure it to a blank of white petals.

Next you need to add leaves to the flower, distributing them evenly along the underside of the flower. Then you need to make a circle with a diameter of 40 mm from light green tape. It will be the base for the chamomile and cover the edges of the petals.

The created base should be secured to the bottom of the flower. Then, on top of this circle, you need to glue a hair clip, attaching it to the center of the daisy.
