Fortune candies "The Night Before Christmas"
Our family has one very good tradition associated with the Christmas holidays. Relatives visit each other all night on the night before Christmas, exchange gifts, and sing carols. Recently, we began to greet guests with various surprises and predictions. This year we made everything very simple and quick in the form of magic candies. Such predictions are easy and fun to make with children.
All you need for this:
1. Delicious and beautiful candies.
2. Band for tying.
3. Crepe paper.
4. Scissors.
5. New Year's predictions (in printed or written form).
First, prepare your predictions. The easiest way is to find them on the Internet and print them out. You can write by hand, it will be more sincere and pleasant. Predictions can be in comic form, in poetry or prose. You can even compose them yourself if your imagination allows!
To make one fortune candy, cut a rectangle from crepe paper by eye; be guided by the size of your candies, as well as how you want to wrap them. You can wrap the candy completely, or you can slightly leave the candy wrappers sticking out on the sides. Roll up the prediction and cut two pieces of braid, 10 cm each.
We attach the prediction to the candy and wrap it in paper, tie it with braid on both sides and use scissors to turn the braid into beautiful curls!
We do the same with the rest of the candies.
We put all the candies in a box. Now all your family and friends who come to visit you will be able to choose a wonderful candy with a kind and cheerful prediction for the next year!
