Master class topiary “I love you”

Let's prepare materials for work:
- coffee beans.
- a little dry alabaster or plaster.
- a small container for a bowl.
-medium thickness wire.
- newspaper.
- paper tape.
- thin brown fabric.
- polymer glue "Titan".
- brown lace.
- 3 or 5 pearl beads.
- a fabric heart with the inscription “I love you.”
- ribbons for decoration.
- plastic suede 2 mm thick with glitter for hats.
-scissors.
- lighter.
- 3 small flowers made of revelour.
- toothpicks.
- several medium-sized white beads.
Let's start by making two balls, 7 and 8 cm in diameter. Take sheets of newspaper and crumple them tightly to the desired size. Then we secure the paper with paper tape. We cut strips 2 cm wide from brown fabric. Using glue, we attach these strips to the resulting paper balls. And give it time to dry.

Then we make indentations with scissors and insert toothpicks into this hole. Then we fix the coffee beans with the same glue over the entire surface of the balls. And set aside for the adhesive to fully set.

In the meantime, let's start making a tree, the basis of which will be wire. We cut pieces measuring 18 and 25 cm. We bend them into the shape of a trunk with two branches.

Next we use the same brown fabric to wrap the base of the tree.

Now take the prepared bowl and dilute the dry plaster in a small amount of water to the consistency of thick sour cream. We mix it all in a bowl and place the bottom of the base of the trunk in the middle and give time for the gypsum to completely set.

Then we cover the outside of the bowl with paper tape.

And on the inside we glue a circle of brown fabric.

When everything is dry, we fix the coffee beans inside the bowl around the barrel. Add a row along the edge of the container.

Now we take brown lace and glue it along the outside of the bowl. The number of rows depends on the width of the braid.

Now we will make the crown of the tree. To do this, we attach the finished coffee balls to the edges of the wires. We take out the toothpicks, and in their place insert the wire with glue. We attach a ball of smaller diameter to the barrel, which is lower.

The tree is ready. But according to the plan, we have a couple in love and therefore we need a difference for a girl and a boy. A ball with a smaller diameter will be a lady and at its base we tie two thin narrow ribbons to match the future hat. Be sure to burn the edges with a lighter. And the gentleman will have a butterfly made of a wide ribbon to match the headdress.

We will glue the hats from 2 cm thick revelour. We take pink and silver colors. Cut out two different circles of 6 cm in diameter. These will be the bases of the hats. The top of the hats is also the same, only the height of the lady's hat is half as high.

We glue the blanks well and add a piece of mesh fabric and three ready-made roses to the lady’s hat.

Now we glue the hats on our lovers.

All that remains is to attach the heart with the inscription. We place it at the base of the trunk, between two branches. Can be glued or sewn. And we also fix several beads in the bowl.
