Chicken marinated in beer and mustard
Oven-fried chicken is a dish that will help out both on weekdays and on any holiday. The usual taste can be changed by marinating the chicken in advance with beer and mustard. You can cook any desired number of chickens in beer marinade, the calculation is given for one carcass weighing 0.9 - 1.0 kg.
To cook chicken in a beer marinade in the oven you need:
1. Wash the bird carcass, dry it and cut it lengthwise along the back. Unfold the chicken and press it down with your hand, making it as flat as possible.
2. Prepare the marinade by combining beer, oil, salt, mustard, chopped garlic and pepper to taste.
Beer can be taken both light and dark. In dark beer, the chicken acquires a more intense hop flavor, while in light beer the taste is somewhat milder.
3. Place the chicken in the beer and mustard marinade. If fried chicken is being prepared for a banquet or picnic, then you need to marinate the chicken in the right amount.For small carcasses, the calculation is one chicken for two servings. The number of products for marinade is also increasing.
4. The chicken needs to be marinated in beer and mustard for several hours, at least 4 - 5, so you need to take care of marinating in advance.
5. Place the marinated chicken in a mold and pour half of the marinade into it. Place the chicken in the oven for 30 minutes.
After this, if the liquid has evaporated, pour the remaining marinade over the chicken.
Continue baking for another 20 - 25 minutes.
Place the finished chicken in beer and mustard on lettuce leaves and serve.
